There’s good news for Texas homeowners who are covered by Farmers Insurance.
Farmers Insurance company just reached an agreement with the Texas Department of Insurance to lower its rates.
Now, customers will receive a five percent rate rollback and a 15 percent rate cut on renewals. A spokesperson for Farmers says this will affect about 500,000 Texas homeowners.
The rate changes take effect early next year.
