While some are out doing holiday shopping this year, they've got American soldiers on their lists.

Phone cards are the hot item for the men and women overseas. That's why "Operation Hi Mom" is helping collect and distribute phone cards to soldiers in Iraq.

Three Texas Aggies have teamed up to organize the operation.

All donated phone cards must be AT&T because they're the only carrier whose cards work from Iraq.

The cards are available at Sam's Club and Wal-Mart, and you can drop them off at participating businesses in both Bryan and College Station.

Drop off locations are the UPS store in Culpepper Plaza, Crystal Vision Center, the Burleson County Tribune, Citizens State Bank in Snook, and KBTX.
