Swat team members, armed federal agents, and police officers with guns drawn. This was what some College Station residents saw Tuesday afternoon near Longmire. Wednesday it was announced that what was taking place was a significant federal drug bust.
Jason Singleton, 29, and Sidney Leslie Moehlman Junior, 34, both of College Station were arrested by U-S Marshals around 2 p.m. Tuesday at a residence at 2800 Longmire. Authorities seized more than $3,000 in drugs and cash along with an illegal weapon.
According to College Station police, the two were the subject of an investigation for several weeks. Singleton faces a host of drug charges including a federal warrant on a motion to revoke. Moehlman was released Wednesday after posting bond a $5,000 bond on one felony drug charge.
