The showdown between Texas A&M and Tennessee at the Cotton Bowl is right around the corner.

Only 17,500 tickets were allotted to Texas A&M University for the game in Dallas. Almost all the tickets are claimed for except the student tickets. The student tickets go on sale December 9th, and some students aren't risking being left out.

Dozens of students camped out in front of Kyle Field, some for almost four days.

"We didn't care what we had to do, we've been out here since Sunday. I had a final on Monday. I kind of studied here while I was out here, it didn't really matter. It's a big game," said student Chris Sandoval.

Students are hoping to see Texas A&M beat Tennessee on New Year's Day. This will be the 28th bowl game for the Aggies.

"On Monday the day after the announcement, the Cotton Bowl office sold 9,000 tickets which was a record for the Cotton Bowl in that one day," said Alan Cannon, Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations at Texas A&M.

12th Man Foundation donors and season ticket holders have already placed their orders, leaving slightly over 2,000 tickets for students.

Campers have turned Kyle field into a living room, study, and even a sleep area.

"It was definitely very cold, the ground was hard even though I had a foam mat somewhere around here, it wasn't very comfortable," said student Shane Hulse.

But, all of them will tell you it's worth it to see the fighting Aggies on field for the last time this season.
