A local mother is heading to prison for ten years after a judge gives her the maximum sentence allowed.

Thirty-four-year-old Deanna Robbins will serve 10 years in prison and pay a $10,000 fine for injury to a child.

Robbins was found guilty of brutally beating her two-and-a-half-year-old son.

Judge J.D. Langley says the pictures of the boy's battered face were horrific and the worst he's ever seen.

The boy was taken into CPS custody in March after authorities found him hiding in a closet.
