A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Lee, Madision, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, & Washington Counties until 8am Saturday morning.
As rain continued to fall in the Brazos Valley, several roads were becoming nearly impassable.
OSR west of Highway 6 was under some 4 feet of water at 11p.m. Saturday.
Some other roads to keep a close eye on overnight are Kurten Cemetary Road, Highway 21 at FM 2776, and OSR at Highway 190.
The Texas Department of Transportation website did not list any closures late Saturday, but deputies from both Brazos and Robertson Counties stayed busy tracking accidents because of the high water.
