Another local bank may be changing hands soon.
The chairman and president of Planters and Merchants State Bank told his board and staff Wednesday that he's considering retirement in 2005.
One of the options laid out by James Florence was possibly selling the bank.
Bank officials say all options are being considered and employees are being kept informed.
No word on any interested buyers.
