Many Aggies share the dream of being buried in Aggieland after they pass away. And now the city of College Station is moving ahead with plans of a cemetery just for Aggies.
The College Station Cemetery Committee says the city will present a proposal to the Texas A&M Board of Regents in January.
The city wants to purchase land for the cemetery from the university. Appraisals on the land are still being conducted. The cemetery would be called the Aggie Field of Honor.
