It was lots of screaming fans during the annual cross town showdown for rivals A&M Consolidated and Bryan High. This is a game everyone looks forward to.
Nicole Pantel, a former Consol student came back for the game. "Its just such a big rivalry even though i've already graduated...Its still an exciting game," adds Pantel.
Fans didn't mind the cold weather. They packed Kyle Field hoping their favorite team would take home the coveted Golden Boot.
Kristen Dileo, a Bryan High student says, "we're hoping for a win..since its been a couple years."
We even found some fans who couldn't decide on who they were rooting for.
Brian Crump, who's a youth minister with the First Baptist Church supports his students from both schools. "We try not to take sides. We try to support both teams. One half of the game I sit on Consol side and the other half I sit on Bryan side."
Mark Williams, a Bryan fan says, "I've been here since 1986. It's been a great turnout every year and I've been supporting Bryan ever since."
Young or old, it’s the fans that will keep this annual cross town rivalry for years to come.
Bryan Vikings won the game 26 to 21.
