HOUSTON (AP) - Police are winding down their investigation of whether someone might have been inside a building moments before it was imploded.
An amateur video appeared to show a figure inside the 13-story Crowne Plaza Hotel seconds before the November 11th implosion. But officials have been unable to confirm that the movement was human.
Workers in the adjacent Texas Medical Center also reported seeing someone enter the building just before the planned demolition began.
But after days of searching there are no signs of a body.
Police searched the hotel's rubble on Saturday with cadaver dogs but found nothing. Fewer officers yesterday went back to the rubble and this time without any search dogs.
Officials with Cherry Demolition say all their workers were accounted for. They told police they searched the building twice before the implosion.
