Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian leader died Thursday at the age of 75.
He had been in a coma since last Friday in a French hospital.
Officials reported his brain was working only partially because of bleeding....and all of his other organs, except his heart and lungs were not functioning well.
Arafat ruled the Palestinian areas since 1995. But for more than two
years, he hadn't left his compound in Ramallah because of
Israeli threats that he would not be allowed to return.
