Saturday brings another chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms to the Brazos Valley. During the afternoon hours, scattered areas of rain and storms could develop in the daytime heat (30%). A line of rain and thunderstorms will be possible between sunset and midnight -- moving in from the north & west. If these storms can reach the area, they could pose a localized flooding & damaging wind threat.
Two men were arrested in connection with a late night robbery in College Station.
Police say they were called to the College Station Wal-Mart parking lot just before 11:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim said he was in his vehicle in the 1600 block of Valley View when a man approached his window and demanded money. The victim says the suspect was holding his hands in his pockets as though he had a weapon. The victim also reported another man was waiting near the back bumper while the action took place.
The victim gave them his wallet and the suspects fled on foot.
After following them, the victim located the two in the Wal-Mart parking lot and called police. One suspect ran into Wal-Mart where he was detained. The other was detained outside without incident.
Authorities arrested 18-year-old Jamarris Williams of College Station and 21-year-old Antonio Harrison of Bryan.
