Accused Child Molester Wanted for Skipping Hearing

He was named USA Today's "Most Caring Coach" in 2005, but now he's a fugitive on the run.

Stephen Bruce Unger, who's charged with six counts of inappropriate acts with children, failed to attend a pre-trial hearing. Now, officials are asking for your help in finding him.

The former Neal Elementary physical education teacher is wanted on six felony warrants for failure to appear on charges of indecency with a child.

Unger, 28, is about 5'9'', weighs 190 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a half-inch scar on his right calf and scars on his right knee.

Brazos County Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of $250 for information leading to Unger's arrest during the week of November 28 through December 4, 2007.

If you have information that could be helpful, call Brazos County Crime Stoppers at 775-TIPS.

Unger's trial was set for December 3.
