If you stop by Downtown Bryan and want an upfront parking spot, you might be on a time limit.
In a meeting Tuesday afternoon, the Bryan Police Department recommended the city of Bryan implement 90 minute parking on selected streets downtown.
The restricted parking would be on Main Street and the west-side of Bryan Avenue, two blocks north and one block south of William Joel Bryan.
Bryan police studied downtown parking for over 30 days after some businesses complained of not having enough parking spots. Police came up with three solutions but recommended only one.
The Downtown Bryan Economic Development Association must okay the change before taking effect.
