The Ross Volunteers aren't in Texas anymore. The outfit rose early Tuesday morning to catch a flight out of Easterwood Airport to Washington D.C.

The Ross Volunteers along with the Fighting Texas Aggie Band, which will leave Wednesday, were invited to celebrate President Bush's inauguration. This will be their second trip to D.C. They went four years ago for Bush's first inauguration.

This year, the outfit will participate in the parade and the Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Ball on Thursday.

"It's still setting in, I think once we hit the tarmac in Washington and realize that we're there it's going to set in that we're involved in something that's incredibly huge," said one cadet.

Some Brazos Valley law enforcement officers will provide extra security for the President during the event.
