A minor accident caused major headaches for motorists on Highway 6 Thursday evening.
The wreck itself wasn't serious. A north-bound car on Highway 6 near University Drive was rear-ended by another which was then hit by a third car. No one was injured.
However, the timing couldn't have been worse. It happened just after 6 p.m., one of the busiest drive times of the day. Traffic on Highway six at one point was backed up from University Drive to Harvey Road. It took about 45 minutes to clean up the wreckage and get traffic moving again.
