The Brazos County Juvenile Board believes it is one step closer to resolving employment issues at juvenile services.
On Thursday, the board discussed results from personnel surveys. 75 percent of those who received the surveys responded.
Board members say most responses were favorable of the department, but some say there's still concern about employee morale.
The department's director, Rhonda Gilchrist, has been on paid leave since late October.
The board is expected to make some decision on Gilchrist's employment at next Monday's meeting.
