A Burton man turned himself into the Washington County Sheriff's Department Saturday morning after a shooting at a home in the city Friday night.
Police say Chad Burns is now charged with Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon after another man was shot in the stomach with a .38 pistol.
Police say Rodney Earle Wilson underwent surgery Friday night to remove the bullet and is recovering. Both men are in their 20's.
Apparently, the argument started over some stolen car parts. Investigators say there were some witnesses at the home on South Brazos and they have been questioned.
