Highway 21 Accident

Three people remain in the hospital after an accident on Highway 21.

The accident happened around 9 a.m. Monday morning on Highway 21 and FM 974, just outside of Kurten.

DPS State Troopers says 53-year-old Mary Wiederstein of Tyler veered into oncoming traffic and hit an 18-wheeler.

The 18-wheeler driven by 42-year-old Henry Clouth, then t-boned and hit another car driven by 69-year-old Jesse Clark of Crockett.

Clark and his wife, Jimmie, along with Widerstein, were taken to St. Joseph.

Due to privacy laws, no ones condition could not be released.
