A series of surveys may help clear the air surrounding the Brazos County Juvenile Detention Center.
Today the board of the embattled center agreed to conduct surveys of past and present employees.
Workers who resigned during the past 2 years will be mailed a questionnaire and current employees will take the survey on the internet.
An independent consultant will present the findings to the board.
The board also officially appointed Dana Zachary as the new juvenile court referee.
