Texas A&M is investigating a possible hazing incident that occurred Monday night.

As a result, a corps commander is stepping down.

Senior Commander John Huffman has asked to be temporarily suspended of his duties until the investigation is complete.

Huffman says he is too close to the investigation and the people involved.

University Relations confirms the investigation is ongoing but will not comment until its conclusion in about 10 days.
