Campus Robbery Suspects Indicted

A pair of Houston men accused of armed robbery and officer assault at Texas A&M were indicted Friday by a Brazos County grand jury.

Earl Henderson, 21, is charged with two counts of burglary of a vehicle, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault against a public servant and evading arrest.

Isiah Holden, 19, was indicted on two counts of burglary of a vehicle, aggravated robbery and two counts of tampering with evidence.

The two are linked to two vehicle burglaries on the A&M campus. They are also accused of robbing an A&M student at gunpoint Oct. 6. Henderson then allegedly tried to run over a university bicycle police officer while fleeing.

Authorities say Henderson then led officers on a car chase that ended in Navasota, where Holden was arrested.

Henderson fled on foot and was later captured in Houston.
