Huntsville's school district and police department are investigating an alleged sexual assault incident.
A female student at Huntsville Intermediate claims she was inappropriately touched by two male students during their PE class.
The district says it takes the allegations very seriously and has taken action.
"We do know there's no sexual intercourse and no sex acts where performed, but the students are separated. They're in different classes and not associating right now. They have gone before a magistrate, we just don't have a decision yet," said Holly Kurth, HISD's spokesperson.
The district hopes to have a decision by next week.
The school district is also alerting parents of a possible child predator.
On Thursday morning the district received a report of a man exposing himself to a student and trying to lure several students into his car while they were walking to school.
Students described the suspect as a black male in his mid twenties.
He has a scar over one eye and was driving a purple or burgundy four-door car. The district will be sending letters to parents.
