6th Street and Northgate will now have more in common.
College Station Police are planning on shutting down College Main on busy nights because of jay walkers.
Cars will not be allowed down the street so pedestrians can safely cross.
Officers will also be issuing tickets for jay walking because of a recent pedestrian accident.
A jay walking ticket can cost you over a hundred dollars, but police say that's better than getting injured.
