Dry Cleaning Death Under Investigation in Austin

AUSTIN -- Authorities say an employee at an Austin dry cleaners died Wednesday when she became caught in machinery at the store.

Police say 54-year-old Mei Wong got her hair or head caught in a machine and suffered significant trauma.

Police didn't identify what machine Wong was using when she died, but property owner Ramon Galindo said he had often warned Wong to not take garments out of the washing and drying machine while they were still running.

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration is investigating.
