College Station police are trying to find a dog that bit a man in the face.
The man was bitten Tuesday night while he was playing with a stray male dog in the back of his house in the 900 block of Holleman. Police believe the dog lives in the area.
He is described as a brown, Boxer mix breed with a black collar and no tags.
If the dog can't be found, the man will have to undergo a series of rabies shots. If found, the dog will need to be quarantined, but will not be put to sleep unless it shows signs of rabies, according to police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the College Station Police Department at 764-3600.
