More than one thousand students were forced to evacuate Friday afternoon because of a fire at Bryan High School.
The small fire happened just before 3:00 p.m. in the welding department.
School officials say it was caused by a short in an electrical panel box.
The entire Blue Campus evacuated as a precaution, which is about 1,484 students, according to school officials.
No one was injured and there was very little damage, officials said.
Power at Bryan High resumed late Friday afternoon. Students who had to leave their belongings in their classrooms, had until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening to retrieve them.
