Bryan Police are warning of a possible home security scam circulating through the community.
Several residents in the Oaks Subdivision say they were approached over the weekend by a Hispanic man offering free security systems. The stranger claimed he was sent by Bryan Police.
In exchange, home owners would be required to place a sign in their yard advertising Pinnacle Security.
Bryan Police say that story is false, which leads them to believe this could be a con.
Police say if you're approached by someone claiming to be endorsed by them, they'd like to know about it.
