A memorial service is planned for an Aggie contractor killed in a plane crash in Afghanistan.

Services for Mark Humphries are set for 10:30 on Saturday morning at First Baptist Church in Bryan.

Humphries was among the more than 100 who died when a commercial airliner went down in the Afghan mountains earlier this month.

The 52-year-old was a road engineer for the New Jersey based Louis Berger Group.

His body has not yet been recovered.

Humphries graduated from Texas A&M in 1974 with a civil engineering degree.
