Corrigan Man Nabbed by BPD for Alleged Online Solicitation

A Polk County man is behind bars thanks to Bryan's cyber crimes team.

For 16 months, BPD's Directed Deployment Team members say they've been chatting online with Robert Loy Hall of Corrigan, except Hall thought he was in touch with a 13-year-old girl, and allegedly sent explicit pictures and videos of himself and requested sex.

Because of extensive travel, authorities say it was tough to pin Hall down, but Thursday, the 40-year-old was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

His three home computers are being analyzed.

Hall is a consultant for an oil field business.

He faces 16 counts of online solicitation of a minor, which is a second degree felony.
