Navasota Company Awarded Millions For Fraud

The verdict is in on a multi-million dollar civil suit in Grimes County.

A jury awarded Navasota company, Interstate Southwest Forging Company $96 million in damages as a result of fraud.

Interstate Southwest sued a Pennsylvania airplane manufacturer saying Textron Lycoming wrongfully blamed them for supplying faulty airplane crankshafts. Interstate Southwest said Lycoming added a chemical to the crankshafts that caused them to fail.
