A source close to the investigation says alcohol was involved in the death of an Aggie graduate hit by a car.

Twenty-two-year-old Luke Patton was killed when he walked into oncoming traffic on Highway six last month.

The autopsy report released Monday sighted multiple blunt force trauma as the cause of death.

Authorities are awaiting a toxicology report but a source at the scene says Patton was intoxicated when he died.

According to the accident report, breathalyzer tests were not taken from anyone involved in the accident.

Patton reportedly got out of a friend's car to use the bathroom and was struck while crossing the road.

Bryan Police have not pressed any charges pending the results from the toxicology report.
