A triple shooting has left one Panhandle man dead and two others wounded -- including a state game warden.

Potter County sheriff's deputies arrested a 33-year-old Amarillo man Sunday near the Canadian River bridge north of Amarillo after the shooting. Seledonio Sanchez Cabrera faces charges of murder, attempted capital murder of a peace officer and attempted murder.

Deputies say the dead victim has been tentatively identified,
but the identity's being withheld until relatives are notified.

Game warden Billy Hefley was treated at an Amarillo hospital for a gunshot wound to the face and released. Sylvia Sefuentes Paniagua
was shot twice in the groin area and underwent surgery Sunday, but
officials expect her to recover.

Investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the shootings.
