Judge Extends Deadline in Florida Right-To-Die Case

There's a 48-hour stay in the case of Terri Schiavo, the severely brain-damaged woman at the center of a right-to-die case in Florida.

Circuit Court Judge George Greer extended a stay Wednesday that was to expire late Wednesday afternoon. He says he needs more time to consider legal arguments.

Laywers for Schiavo's parents want an indefinite stay so they
can pursue several legal motions. But attorneys for Schiavo's
husband say those new motions are a frivolous rehash of older
