Ahead of schedule, a jury has been chosen to hear the child molestation case against pop star Michael Jackson.
The California panel includes four men and eight women -- seven whites, four Hispanics and one Asian.
Attorneys still need to choose eight alternates before opening
statements can begin.
The jurors include a fan of TV's "The Simpsons" and a
relative of a registered sex offender.
Other jurors include a woman who says she's related to the pilot
of Flight 93, the hijacked 9/11 jet that crashed in Pennsylvania.
One juror gives a hint that Jackson's celebrity-driven witness
list may not always impress. The man was asked if he recognized the
name of self-help guru Deepak Chopra. He answered, "I think he's a
rapper."
