Congressman Edwards Townhall Meetings

Congressman Chet Edwards wrapped up his series of town hall meetings in the Brazos Valley.

Edwards spoke with residents in Hearne and Franklin. The main concerns expressed by residents were social security, veterans affairs, immigration, and education.

Edwards says he is expecting an update on the flood control study he recommended for Robertson County very soon.

The purpose of Edwards visit was to address issues and answer questions concerning residents in District 17.
