After a maintenance worker came forward about a sewer problem, A&M University is getting on the band wagon to fix their mess at the married housing complex.

Crews from the University's physical plant were working on cleaning up the creek behind the complex and finding out what caused the sewer leaks.

Chris Meyers, Director of Environmental Health and Safety for the University says, "When we put the camera in the hole and see where the communication is with the storm sewer and the extent of damage we'll know better whether we have to go through a parking lot or through a sidewalk or if it’s just in a grassy area."

Meyers says when they find out what the problem is, a decision will be made on how to prevent another nasty mess.
