Brenham Gives the Okay to Proceed With Plans for the New School

The ball is rolling on a new elementary school for Brenham ISD. School board members decided to go ahead with the proposed design, closely modeled after Krause Elementary.

The school will now move on to the design development phase, where architects will meet with teachers and staff to find out more detailed needs inside the classrooms or offices.

If all goes as planned, construction is expected to begin in June and they hope to have the school up and running by the 2006-07 school year.

Brenham residents approved a $10 million bond package that included the new elementary back in September.
