At times, the internet is a wonderful tool for learning, but can also be a medium for sexual predators. The Bryan Police Department and the city have teamed up to present a class on internet safety for parents.
The class is designed to educate parents about the threat of sexual predators on the web and how to monitor their child's internet use.
The course was developed after College Station police arrested a Tennessee man last year who used the internet to meet and sexually exploit a 15-year-old College Station girl.
The class is scheduled for Wednesday January 26th from 6-8p.m. at the Children's Museum.
To register call (979) 209-5349.
