A Brazos County jury showed no mercy in punishing a convicted rapist.
Jurors delivered a sentence that will ensure the defendant has a lifetime to think about what he did.
The jury sentenced 42-year-old Reinaldo Hernandez to life in prison for the 2003 kidnap and rape of a pregnant woman in Bryan.
During the trial, the woman told jurors Hernandez forced her into his truck and took her to a car wash where he held a gun to her head and sexually assaulted her.
Another woman testified Hernandez kidnapped and raped her back in 1997.
Those charges were dropped.
Hernandez will be eligible for parole in 30 years.
