CSPD Investigation Nets Alleged Drug Dealer

College Station Police made a pair of arrests Friday night concerning drug possession.

At 11:15 PM, investigators executing a narcotics search warrant went to a residence in the 3000 block of Texas Avenue. Two people were contacted inside the building, and two additional residents arrived shortly after.

In a search of the residence, police found 20.1 grams of cocaine and 50.1 grams of marijuana, along with some perscription drugs. The cocaine's street value is estimated at $1,500.

Ruben Rodriguez Jr., 22, and Jack Thomas Olivo, 26, were arrested. Both men are from College Station. Rodriguez is charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute, a first-degree felony. Olivo faces misdemeanor charges for possession of marijuana, Hydrocodone and Alprazolam.

College Station PD's Special Investigations Section says the arrests are part of an on-going investigation that continues. More arrests are possible, they say.
