A man who allegedly admitted in a suicide note to killing a federal judge's husband and mother reportedly had a case rejected by the judge.
According to the Chicago Tribune the Chicago man committed suicide during a traffic stop in Wisconsin and had left a note claiming to have killed the two last week. Chicago Police say they've cordoned off the man's last known address in the city's North Side.
The man filed a lawsuit against the University of Illinois over cancer treatment in the early 1990s. Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow reportedly rejected it last year.
The paper says in his suicide note the man claims that ruling cost him "his house, his job and family."
Investigators say his note also includes details in the case that weren't released to the public.
