An investigation is underway in Montgomery County after a body is found at an oilfield.
Just after 1 this afternoon, a worker at the facility two miles west of FM 3083 saw a body near a pump site and called the sheriff's office. Deputies say the body was in the advanced stages of decomposition. It has been sent to Conroe for an autopsy, and the sheriff's office is examining other evidence from the scene.
