Plans to make 29th street wider near Blinn College are a go.
The Bryan City Council approved a contract Tuesday of just over $150,000 to start the design phase.
The project will widen a 2,700 foot strip of 29th street from Villa Maria to Hollowhill Drive. Design work is expected to take about six months to complete with construction to start up in 2006.
