There was a big turnout Thursday for the community's inaugural meeting of the Conquest Boys Club.
The event at the Extra Innings Batting Cages was sponsored by St. Joseph Catholic School. Dozens of boys got to test their skills at the plate before grabbing plates of free pizza. And having fun is one of the main goals of the club.
"Conquest is a boys club for ages 5-16 and it's mainly to help develop future leaders through faith and virtue," said Nathan Kennedy, Conquest Auxiliary
