Former Employees File Federal Complaint

Some former Hearne city employees are taking their sexual harassment claims straight to the federal government.

Last year, four employees were fired for misusing public money for personal use.

The women say City Manager Ric Walton fired them only because they accused him of sexual harrassment.

He denies it and the city council put Walton on paid leave for five days and sensitivity training.

Now, the women have filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Walton would not comment on camera but says the women were fired legitimately.

The EEOC has 60 days to respond.
