Three middle school choirs made some beautiful music together.
Choir members from Consolidated Middle School in College Station, and Jane Long and Sam Rayburn Middle Schools in Bryan held a group practice Friday to pick up some pointers, including from Metropolitan Opera star Emily Pulley, who grew up in College Station.
With all-regional auditions coming up, any final pointers could go a long way.
"I remember it was a huge thrill when you got to go to regional choir clinic, and I was in the all-state choir a couple of years, too," Pully said, "and so it was always very exciting just to see how well you could compete against yourself, and also against your peers."
Upwards of 200 students were involved in the gathering at A&M United Methodist Church.
