College Station's top city staff member has now been internationally recognized.
Glenn Brown recently picked up the designation of credentialed manager from the International City Manager's Association, which is widely considered the top local government management organization.
Brown has been with College Station since 2000, and became city manager in 2006.
“As I worked through ICMA’s credentialing process this past year, my enthusiasm for professional development and growth has been recharged. The credentialing process has truly been a professionally uplifting experience, and I appreciate having this opportunity,” Brown said in a press release.
Brown has spent a total of 32 years in city government, including stints in Kerrville, Winters and Abilene. He holds degrees from Tarleton State and Texas A&M.
