The fight over Terri Schiavo's future moves into a federal court this afternoon.
According to a court Web site, U.S. District Judge James Whittemore set a hearing for 3pm, Eastern time.
Congress rushed a bill to President Bush early this morning. He signed it into law, giving the brain-damaged woman's parents the right to ask a federal judge to order doctors to reinsert her feeding tube.
In their filing, Schiavo's parents claim a series of violations of Schiavo's rights. The suit says her religious beliefs are being infringed, the removal of her feeding tube violated her rights and that she hasn't been provided a lawyer.
A state judge ordered the tube removed Friday.
