Traffic was backed up for miles on Highway 6 Thursday morning in College Station, after a single vehicle accident.
It happened on the northbound lanes of the Earl Rudder Freeway near the University Drive overpass.
Police say the driver of the car was headed south on Highway 6 when she looked down to change the radio station and drifted into the median. She then allegedly flipped into the oncoming northbound lanes.
The driver was taken to the St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan with minor injuries.
